The Author

I am a husband, father, and pastor.  In 1978, I placed faith into Jesus Christ.  After several years of wandering, I finally settled into a growing relationship with Jesus during my college years.  Though I was raised in the church, I questioned everything and rarely received answers that seemed logical.  During my time at Union University, I established a regular time in scripture and prayer.

In the Fall of 1992, I moved to Fort Worth, TX to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. While working toward my Masters in Divinity I began dating Dulcie Rogers.  We married in 1994 and both graduated from Seminary in 1997.  We have served Oklahoma Baptists since 1996 in various churches and positions in the state and are now serving God In Texas.

We have two children: Samuel and Isabella.  I am very thankful to God that both children have now placed faith and Jesus and followed Him in baptism.  However, the job has just begun.  It is now our duty to make disciples that make a difference out of each of them.  When not helping with homework, I enjoy golf, woodworking, and reading.  Dulcie enjoys scrapbooking and sewing.  Together we enjoy watching movies and traveling.
